With an arts-entrepreneurial spirit, in 2013 after following a course about Leonard Cohen at the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Continuing Education, I was energized to share my own expertise in literature. I created, designed and taught a variety of provocative literature courses ranging from James Joyce to the art of (m)using men for creative inspiration, and Serge Gainsbourg:

  • Tales of Female Betrayals: 8 stories of wives, unsatisfied. Exploration of eight women who left their marriages (in creative and tragic ways).
  • Women Who (M)use Men: Fated Attractions. Investigation of how women use and muse men to fuel their art.
  • Ces Chansons Qui Ne Nous Quittent Pas: Piaf, Brel and Gainsbourg. The powerful poetry of in song of Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel and Serge Gainsbourg (en français).
  • How to Enjoy Reading James Joyce’s Ulysses. An introduction to James Joyce and his book, Ulysses.
  • Mastering a Masterpiece: The artistry of James Joyce’s Ulysses. An In-depth analysis of Ulysses and the author’s intent.
